Books: Divergent Series
I just finished Divergent this past week, and though I’m not quite ready to adore it with a cult like fervor, I did enjoy the story. I already have Insurgent on my desk, and can’t wait to start it. Unfortunately the second book in most trilogies is usually a real let down for me. Hopefully once I’ve finished the entire series my opinion will change for the better instead of worse. I really do want to like it. *fingers crossed*
See what else I’ve been reading on my Good Reads page.
TV & Movies: Elementary
This is probably my new favorite show. There’s such great chemistry between Sherlock and Watson, and the cases actually keep me guessing unlike some of the other crime dramas. (maybe I watched too much law & order in my day.) Does anyone else follow Elementary? Did you have any idea who Moriarty was?!? I can’t wait for season two!

Food: Almond Icing
You’d think I’d be sick of it after the four batches I made for Morgan’s Birthday Cake, but nope.
I’m pretty sure I’ll love it forever. Give the recipe a try and let me know what you think!
Kids: Pockets
Is it just me, or have there been tons of cute pockets popping up everywhere?

Adults: Nail Polish
I guess this one could go under kids as well, but while we were home for Morgan Birthday Party, my other little cousin, Mylea, painted Aurelia’s nails. It was probably the highlight of her trip, and she’s been asking me to paint them again and again every day since we got home. Now if I could only get her to stop chewing it all off an hour after it dries!
Just for Fun: Swiss Dot Fabric
As soon as I find a really cute floral one, I’ll definitely be treating myself to some for my birthday!
