If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen my good news/bad news post recently, and heard all about the crazy sicknesses that have overtaken our house the past few weeks. We’ve had not one but TWO viruses making the rounds at the same time, and a double dose of pink eye.
Finally, after almost 3 solid weeks of rain, the sun came out for a few hours, and the kids and I took a walk around the block. Now I’m not usually a very insightful or poetic writer, I like to keep things upbeat whenever possible, but looking at the photos I took that morning really struck a chord.
Sometimes you work so hard you feel like you’re about to break apart into tiny little pieces,
And you just want to curl up and hide from the world.
But always remember that your imperfections make you beautiful.
Stop comparing yourself to everyone else and achieve awesomeness at you own pace!
Your success will be that much more enjoyable if you’re being true to yourself.
So even though my life has been SUPER crazy lately, I’m choosing to celebrate. This week it’s been 6 months since I had my stroke and 3 months since my heart surgery. I’m insanely lucky to be where I am today and am feeling great!
It’s all about perspective!
I’m really glad you’re back and feeling well. I enjoy your blog.
Awww, Thanks Kathy! I’m glad to be back doing what I love & sharing it with you.
